As a media ministry, we believe God has called us to use the tools He's placed into our hands to trumpet a much-needed message to today's young people.
We have to TELL THEM... tell them that they don't have to fall victim to the world's lies... tell them that they are of infinite value to their Heavenly Father... tell them that there is HOPE!
We have recently produced four powerful documentaries dealing with vital topics such as suicide, drugs, violence, and sexuality. The 4-DVD box set is called, YOUTH AT RISK, and this message MUST get into the hands of key influencers who connect directly with teens in high schools, youth groups, social agencies, and beyond. Our Crossroads Global CEO, Dr. John Hull, is passionate about reaching our youth with the message of hope, and our mandate is to ensure we distribute this material as widely as possible, as God enables us. And that's where you come in…
Your gift of $100 will put one of these documentary box sets into the right hands! With your help, along with the partnership of various youth-focused organizations, we can begin to turn the tide of destruction that the enemy has leveled against our kids. Please prayerfully consider participating in this crucial campaign. Even if you are unable to give at the $100 level, your donation of any amount will make a difference. You can use your response card enclosed with your Compass magazine, or you can call now at 1-800-265-3100.
To thank you for your participation, we want to send you a copy of a unique book with relevant advice for teens. It's entitled, THE WAY THEY SHOULD GO, and it's perfect for that young person within your sphere of influence. It was compiled by a Grade Eight student, Kirsten Femson, who wanted to encourage and challenge her classmates as they were about to begin high school. She wrote to Christian leaders across North America and asked them to share their best wisdom for teenagers. Kirsten was surprised by the great response, and a publisher felt that these nuggets of gold should be distributed far and wide! The book is laid out in a fun, easy-to-read format, and over 90 top leaders have contributed, including David Mainse, Dr. Charles Stanley, Dr. James Dobson, and Dr. Luis Palau, as well as many others (including my wife Ann and me). On the opposite page are three excerpts from the book written by Ravi Zacharias, Joni Eareckson Tada, and Kay Arthur. Crossroads first made this book available in 2006, and we want to once again offer this timeless advice as part of our new 100 Huntley Street Classic Collection. Be sure to request a copy of The Way They Should Go when you respond with your special gift toward our current effort to reach out to today's youth through our 4-DVD box set, YOUTH AT RISK. Thank you so much for caring about the next generation!
Youth Under Fire This enlightening documentary seeks to explore the many ways in which violence has infiltrated North American culture. How is violence learned among today's youth? Why does it happen in the first place? And, most importantly, how do we teach our kids that violence isn't an option?
Pain Killers In this documentary expose, we seek to answer some of the toughest questions surrounding the epidemic of pain killer addiction in our kids. How did these drugs become so prevalent? Who is responsible? And most importantly, what can be done to stop it?
