Tara been counselling couples for ten years and individuals dealing with relational issues for over a decade. During that time she has helped many couples face the devastating impacts of extra-marital affairs and work through the myriad of issues that are intertwined in these experiences. Educationally, Tara has a Master's of Divinity degree in professional counselling and received her PhD in professional counselling from Liberty University. Her PhD dissertation was on understanding couples' experiences of one-week marriage intensive therapy. When working with couples she uses an integrative marriage therapy model that incorporates family therapies, EFT, experiential couples therapies, and cognitive therapies in order to help clients understand their own internal experiences, their spouses experiences, and then learn how to communicate in an empathetic way so that they can work through the heart issues and come to workable solutions in the daily content of life.
